Gov. Herbert: Sen. Lee's effort to stop health care law may hurt GOP======== So the truth comes out.Stopping health care
won't hurt AEMERICANs, only the GOP.
During the 90's I was a Republican. I supported the plan that is now
Romneycare/Obamacare. Health insurance providers still make plenty of money and
people are being covered who were not before. Preventive care is much cheaper
than Medicaid ER and hospital stays.Instead of celebrating that the
plan which Republicans came up with passed, they are fighting against it and it
will harm Americans. Lee will benefit from this health plan as he tries to stop
it with ZERO plan to replace it with anything. Why doesn't he
have a plan to replace it? BECAUSE IT IS A REPUBLICAN PLAN. One of many reason
I left the GOP.
You know what would be refreshing? If Lee decided to do something for Utah for
once. The only bill he has really pushed so far was bank deregulation. Say
what? The topic he used to chase Bennett out?I hope he is voted
out, Lee does nothing but collect paychecks and do nothing for Utah. We voted
him in and lost clout as the GOP took what we had and divvied it up to southern
Mr. Governor,What is more important, the party or the Country? Oh,
that's right, to you it's the party. it's because of republicans
like you, bennett, hatch, leavitt and others that I left the party years ago and
The gov is right. If Lee is the future of the GOP, the party is in big trouble.
Are you kidding me?Everything the federal government touches, it
ruins:- Amtrak: broke- US Post Office: broke- Social
Security: broke- Medicaid: broke- Medicare: broke- Federal
military: broke- Federal tax laws: broke- Fannie Mae: broke-
Freddie Mac: brokeAnd if that's not enough...-
Federal budget: NON-EXISTENT- Federal coffers: broke, to the tune of
almost a $17 TRILLION deficit (that's 17,000 billions, folks)You simply cannot add 30 MILLION patients with no increase in doctors and NOT
have a loss of overall healthcare quality.Sadly, Gov. Herbert
dislays that he is "broke" in terms of wisdom, too. We don't need
to look at what's best for our party, we need to look at what's best
for AMERICA. It's the "what is best for me" attitude that put us
in this mess.Oh, hard times are a comin'.....
