I'm excited to watch Jamaal and the other backs run all over opponents this year. Adam Hine is also athletic with his 7 foot high jump. I'd love to see that kid jump over a ute for a Touchdown come September. Go Cougs!

J Will don't get bigger it's just going to compromise your speed. Just keep doing your thing and you'll be great. Let Mike Alisa and Paul Lasike be the tough yardage guys.

Excited to see what this offense can do.

    Go Cougs!

Gotta love depth and eight running backs means that Williams will not have to carry the entire load, but I do see a 1,000 yard season for him and great success in the running game as the passing game improves and the hurry up offense takes the legs out of the defense. Sorry to here that Alisa is having issues with his arm but hopefully the procedure will correct his problem and he will be able to play.

    GOOOOOO Cougars

This offense is set to go! Fast-paced and loaded and talented at the positions that touch the ball. This is going to be a fun year. Add that to an OC who gets teams in the top 25 on a regular basis and a WR coach who has put 20 WRs in the NFL and BYU is in great shape this year!

Wow, sad to hear Alisa re injured his hand this summer. What a bummer! Glad to hear other kids are stepping up though. When you hear all those 4 stars 300+lbs mammoths in the Utes line up this year, I'm hoping Williams and the other boys are fast enough to run away from them. I'm hoping for a wonderful surprise this year against Utah...3 & 4 stars vs 2 and no stars! If we come out on top, no amount of vile from the haters will bother me anymore!

Go Cougars! Good luck to Utes too!

....which will only serve to open up the passing game. Gotta run, gotta run....awesome.

I clearly don't understand recruiting. There is one running back in most BYU sets and 4-5 defensive backs in most defenses and the number of healthy running backs is greater than healthy defensive backs.

Algernon Brown is a strong back out of Skyline High's option attack and he can hit hard in the middle but he has good speed around the outside too. I am looking forward to his addition to the Cougar running attack. I see him as a good blocking back too. I watched most of his games and he came back from the mission field in great shape. I see him, Lasike and Alisa as being the fullback option ala Manase Tonga or Fui Vakapuna.
    Go Cougars...

I've yet to see a back do the fosbury flop over the defensive line for a TD.
