“By 54 percent to 40 percent, Republican and Republican-leaning voters
want the party’s leaders to move further to the right."Thus guaranteeing that the only races the GOP can look forward to winning are
in heavily gerrymandered districts and where voter suppression is vigorously
used.Meanwhile, the rest of the nation recoils in surprise and
disgust at the increasingly reactionary and toxic positions of today's
GOP.I have in my life, more than once, supported a GOP candidate.
That was before the GOP's decision to make itself into "God's Only
Party." A healthy exchange of ideas from divergent positions is
important to our nation, but today's GOP has well and truly gone off the
deep end.Doubt me? Ask any GOP candidate in a governor's
congressional or presidential election what the age of the Earth is.
Among prominent Republican figures, Rep. Paul Ryan had the highest favorability
rating (65 percent), while Gov. Chris Christie earned the largest unfavorable
perception (30 percent).=======The current group of
Republicans is about the best thing to EVER happen for the Democrats. It appears Hillary has already won the 2016 election without even trying.President Clinton.Mrs. President, I should say.
Republicans,Please don't change anything...Please
keep doing the same thing...even faster and more of it...Thanks.
Conservatism is just around the corner and when it hits Obama and his circus
Carney will be toast! We will never see the economy return until the democrats
lose power to the GOP.....and the GOP will never be successful until we rid
ourselves of the majority of the RINO's like christy, McCain, Graham, Ryan,
Cantor, McConnell and even Hatch!
GOP = Irrelevant
I would like to thank the liberals for giving the GOP advice here. Now, go
away.As for GOP leaders, how about an honest read of the party platform?
You will find the answers about gays, immigration, the deficit, the size and
scope of government, taxation...The collective input of politically active
local delegates is being trumped by Karl Rove. That's the real problem
with the GOP.
TRUTH forecasts a big GOP victory in one breath, but in the next one condemns
the party for harboring "RINOS". Then, for good measure, he names seven
who come up short of his ideal, who he wishes would disappear. All that's
left to be filled in are the details of this future intraparty Day of Reckoning.
I can't wait.
To "Mark B" if you look at the recent upset elections lately, the GOP
canidates have won by going in with conserative messages. Just look at
"Hispanic win: ‘California can be Republican again’" in the
Washington Times. That is just one example where a GOP canidate offered a true
alternative to the Progressive platform of the Democrats. If the GOP
leadership listens to its base instead of the Democrats, they can win more
elections because conservatives outnumber liberals.
You fellows had the last election all figured out until it happened. Nine months
after being wrong, you're in the prediction business again. If the GOP was
set to sweep into office, wouldn't they be looking for ways to make voting
easier instead of harder?
