    One of the advantages of sending kids to camp,boy scouts or girls, without any sort of electronic media--is that camp gives them a chance to experience nature as it was created--the closest we can come to the Garden of Eden. Rule #7 should be: give the kids as many opportunities as possible to get closer to God through experiencing his creations.

    When I have kids, they can use electronic devices as much as they likeā€”as I do, for scripture study, missionary work, etc. and yes, a few games here and there. I'll be much more concerned about keeping them away from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and pornography than I will be about Angry Birds. Deseret News is just being old-fashioned and excessively conservative, as usual.
