This story cracked me up, thanks for sharing!
I understand this story is meant to be satiric, but using the title of
"stupid teller kid" and the fact that the female teller was described as
having a "flirtatious smile" made it offensive. As a single, female
teller I can't begin to tell you the number of times my good customer
service has been wrongly mistaken for flirting. The fact that this is coming
from a husband and father makes me even more uncomfortable. Everyone makes
mistakes, and even the "dumbest of creatures" can relate to the stress
of starting a new job, especially at a drive up when it gets to be busy. I think
the teller could have handled the situation with greater tact, but the customer
could have as well. A better example could have been set for the kids in the car
on both sides of this story.I would also like to point out that in the
comments policy (which I read in order to create an account specifically for
this article) it states that the use of name-calling is not allowed, yet it is
found in abundance in this article.
Wells Fargo has Dum-Dums, and if you wait long enough for a bank rep, you get a
waterbottle. :) I've been in numerous times to try to get them to iron out
this or that fee and questions about their accounts...
As a former teller, this story made me laugh.
