Or it could be that the people got rich because they would steal, they would
stab someone in the back to get ahead. They would do anything to get ahead. They
don't care about anyone or anything except themselves. So everything they
do is with their progression in mind. When you more resources, more money, you
don't think as much on what you spend it on. Usually when people have
money, they have power. Maybe its that power over other people that are causing
them to do this.
Money can corrupt but that is certainly not always the case. There are many
benevolent and philanthropical rich people. In fact the USA is the most
charitable nation on earth.Conversely I have seen many a corrupt
poor person who lives by what they can steal rather than earn an honest
living.I guess it somewhat depends also on ones definition of
corruption. No doubt though that money can provide opportunity for
corruption. Typically the more money you have the more interactions you have
with it which just increases the odds that you will be faced with a circumstance
that could be deemed corrupt. All humans are subject to temptation
and fallibility regardless of religion or beliefs it is unfortunate that many
think that anything goes in business because that certainly is a form of
Power corrupts, ultimate power corrupts ultimately.
That explains the tea party to a tea.
