what a sad story. sometimes life makes no sense at all especially when freak things like this happen to such pure and innocent kids. Hope the family has been able to find some measure of peace over the past year.

What a neat idea! So glad something can ease the pain of losing that sweet little boy.

I read this story and the following quote came to mind:

"The ability to turn eveything into something good appears to be a godly characteristic. Our Heavenly Father always seems able to do this. Everything, no matter how dire, becomes a victory to the Lord. Joseph, although a slave and wholly undeserving of this fate, nevertheless remained faithful to the Lord and continued to live the commandments and made something very good of his degrading circumstances. People like this CANNOT be defeated." - Hartman Rector, Jr., LDS General Authority

I am very sorry to hear of this family's loss, but I am heartened to learn of their effort to try to do the same thing that Heavenly Father does: make lemonade from lemons.

God bless you in your efforts and may the Lord speed the time when you will be joyfully be reunited with your precious son.
