It is interesting to me that the rodeo grounds survived the carnage. They use it for two weekends a year, the remainder of the time it sits idle stinking up the park. The new park looks like a cemetery without the headstones. I will spend eternity in a similar facility so I certainly don’t want to hasten my experience by visiting the new park. And two weeks after the grand opening they will continue with the cemetery theme as no one will be there. As far as the C.R. Hamilton Park, the facility is eye candy only as a small sprinkle will suspend play because the drainage design is so inferior. Water sits on the infield like a coach potato during March madness. Anyone attend the fireworks? Were you able to find all your children through the thick foliage that should have been lawn? The parks department should be introduced to the wonders of an invention called a mower. The current park flounder can’t take care of the old park; use your imagination what should happen next.
