Sorry about your luck. Life doesn't owe you the CEO job, and you might have
to put years in to earn your place in the world.
Is it really Generational or just age? When I was in my 20's, I had dreams
of shooting straight to the top. The categorizing by generation is too
simplistic to have any real value.
I agree John20000 with your premise. I think it's more about age. Perhaps
the only thing different is that maybe the older generations just took it and
stayed with their jobs later. Of course dealing with disengaged employees is
quite frustrating for both employer and customer alike.
When I was working, when I was hired to do a job. I made that job mine. I
organized it prioritized and did it my best. Sure there was days I was sick and
didn't do well but I did my best. That is all anyone can expect. There
there to earn, [work] for a living, being responsible for myself and family by
supporting the money. But if you never leave home and live with your mommy why
should you work you have mommy.
