I've been saying for months that whoever drafts Withey is going to end up happy. He's underrated. If he's available at 21, he would be a great value pick. If this postseason has shown us anything, it's that a rim protector is essential to having a great team. If you had a rim protector like Withey as a backup for a rim protector like Favors, it would be a mean combination. I would like to see the Jazz sign Jose Calderon, draft a PG at 14 (best available), and take Withey at 21. With the second round pick you can gamble on another PG like Wolters or Canaan and if they pan out, you're set. That's this armchair GM's opinion.

You might have something there, O.I. I watched some of Withey in the NCAAs and he could definitely prove to be a solid NBA defensive second-teamer, the likes of which the Jazz will need if they lose Jefferson and Milsap. Withey is a bit slow-footed but very effective in the half court. I'm guessing the Jazz are trying to move up with their first pick, but Withey with the second first round pick would be o.k. by me.
