Why the photo of the temple? Were they killed near the temple?
Que triste que el diablo tiene tanto poder hoy en dia. Que Dios bendiga a las
familias de estos muchachos y manda muy rapidamente al infierno aquellos que
hicieron tal hecho. ?Que tipo de diablo mataria a los innocents?
What a heart-wrenching story, as they were not bothering anyone at all. How my heart goes out to their families. May God give you peace at this time.
We truly live in a sick world and in the last days.
It sounds like they were not targeted because they were Mormon, but being Mormon
their standards were high and they would not yield to joining a gang. I suspect
they were gunned down in a drive-by shooting. What a cowardly act.Very sad. I pray that the Lord comforts the parents and loved ones grieving
for the loss of these young men.
I am so sorry for their families. May God bless them in what must be an
incredibly difficult time.
Words are inadequate to express the sorrow.
This sort of violence occurs every weekend, if not daily, on the south side of
Chicago where I'm from. Kids there may not be Mormons, but are just good
kids trying to stay out of trouble. My heart goes out to the families of all
these kids, both abroad and here. My only consolation is in knowing that through
the sacrifice and atonement of Jesus Christ, all may live eternally in His
Que las familias tengan el consuelo del Espiritu Santo, y su guia. Que se
lleven a la justicia a los que mataron a estes jovenes.
i remember when a young man a few years older, but nevertheless as worthy and
outstanding as these, was hit by lightening. I remember his funeral was a
celebration of his life. When you can bury your child, worthy to meet the
Savior, beyond the grief and loss, what joy should be in your heart. This
is a wicked world, and becoming more so each day. To have children this age,
wanting and worthy to go on missions, what a joy to know where they are
and that they are probably doing the very thing they were planning to do. There are parents every day losing their children disconnecting from the
church, drugs, gangs, pornography, etc. A lost without the Joy.
@CB"This is a wicked world, and becoming more so each day. "The world currently has less war than ever before, less slavery than
ever before, more educational attainment than ever before....
@atl 134 Seems you may have fallen into that 'low information' rut.
Less War? What world are you living in? Even without a declared war, Chicago is
a 'war zone'. Less slavery? Well if you don't want to include the
'sexual trafficking', perhaps. Education? If you think that teaching
someone what to think is equal to teaching someone how to think is education. If
you don;t think depriving more than 3 million potential beings of birth
isn't wicked, then we do live in different world.
These gangbangers are the lovely folks Obama allows to cross the border without
being held or even having their criminal records checked. MS and 18 are the
gangs that own the streets of El Salvador and Guatemala, they get their guns and
ammo from Arizona, Texas and California. Both gangs are very strong in US
prisons and on the streets of LA, and the cities east of LA . Having a solid
border isn't being mean to Hispanics but trying to top more drugs and crime
from entering the city you over in.
My heartfelt sorrow goes to these fine families. God bless you as you deal with
your loss. I'm so sorry there is so much evil in the world. I'm
grateful for a merciful God who is watching and caring in spite of the evil
actions of others.
