@ Brad Rock, Re: Kobe ClutterI have to argue with your points that
the rightful owners of Kobe's high school jersies should be " whoever
paid for and laundered them". First of all, if his high school is like my
daughters, the school actually paid for the uniforms and would keep them for
several years and assign them to players according to the size they needed.
Also, she would leave her uniforms at school and the team manager would wash
them and keep track of them for the players. So if that's true for Kobe,
maybe his high school team manager should be able to sell them at auction. All
that said however, no matter who paid for or washed the jersies, they would only
be cleaning rags now if Kobe didn't wear them. I think Kobe has the right
to decide what to do with his jersies.
Sloan a great teacher? Now that the stuff of high comedy!I can't think of single player he "taught" to be better. He never developed a center, shooting guard or small forward, point
guard became a mess after stockton left because of his great coaching. He seemed to have a negative impact on players not named stockton or
malone. And I would like to know specifically what he taught stockton
or malone skill wise? They seemed to develop themselves.
