Never heard of this young man before but his record seems very credible. Hope his dream of getting a championship fight happens soon. It seems he doesn't have the luxury of time on his side to wait. I wish him much luck and success!

I miss the people in the Church sections they used to have in the Church News, and it seems like the Ensign has moved away from doing as many profiles of Latter-day Saints in specific areas. I wish we would write more about the Latter-day Saints around the world.

This guy understands personal responsibility in athletics in general and in boxing, specifically.

    I sure hope he....

    A) wins the title fight he deserves to have

    B) applies that personal responsibility to maintaining, and improving, his testimony

After all, if any one of us gains the whole world, but loses our soul, what good is even the greatest worldly victory?

    Lambert,
One of the contributors that hasn't been heard from for a few months is Vai Sekahema. I have wondered what happened there.

Lost me at the disconnect, "LDS Boxer -- isn't all that active any more."
