Out thoughts and prayers go out to this brave soldier and his family and
friends. It is men like this who keep us free, and keep our enemies
occupied on their own turf, instead of ours.
I have had it.Enough of this. How many more lives must be
lost? How many more billions wasted? How much more time must we waste in
Afghanistan? Time to pull out. Pull out completely. No more foreign aid to them.
no more handouts. Shut down all bases and embassies there. Just shut it down.
Let those people figure stuff out by themselves.
I'm currently in Kandahar; please know our thoughts and prayers are with
you all here, too. We are proud to serve with oversees with heros like Cody!
Rest assured, Cody is an inspiration to free people everywhere.
To the family of Cody Towse, I offer my sincere condolences at this time of
sorrow. My flag was lowered to have staff when I heard Cody was
missing and will remain that way until he is returned home and is with his
family. This isn't a time of politics, this is a time to
remember our sons and daughters that are serving our great country. It's a
time to remember those those true hero's that have given their lives so you
all can have the freedoms you currently have.To Cody, thank you my
brother for all you have done for me, my family and our nation.
This story really touched my heart and to Mr. Towse...our flag will be flying in
memory of your sweet son, a young man that gave his life for me and everyone
else. I cry everytime I read of these tragedies especially when it involves our
military. I cannot imagine losing a child. I hope the Towse family knows they
will be in many prayers and thoughts. We mourn with you and I'm just sorry
you lost your son(best friend) and hope and pray that some day there will be
peace once again and our children, friends can come home to their families -
where they belong.
Condolences to the Towses and all your circle of family and friends. Best
Wishes in your path forward, and fondly remembering your son.
Remember our President gained the Nobel Peace Prize even before doing anything
as President. Actually, he still hasn't done much with his official duties
except expanding the scope of the federal government with unfunded, literally
unfunded mandates, as he hasn't had a finalized version of a budget for 5
years. He is an exceptional person to be given a peace prize for extending the
Afghanistan war for 5 years when his promise was to curtail it. But he was so
in love with General Petreaus that he kept on promoting him and giving him
laudatory remarks as he moved him to the CIA Director until he didn't
support the Benghazi briefing points for the lowly U.S. Ambassador to the United
Nations to get up and make a presentation in a flurry of visits to every media
outlet stating the "Obama Doctrine on Benghazi" on the next Sunday. Then Petreaus came to disfavor quickly and was one of the sacrifices for
that mistake. Secretary Clinton made statements that should have put her to
disgrace by stating "What difference does this make?"Being
on the other end in the military, I think of President Nixon almost doing a
As a fellow Soldier who has served in these dangerous areas, I offer my deepest
condolences to the Towse family. May Cody be remembered for his sacrifice and
may his family find peace in this horrible tragedy. He is a TRUE American Hero.
Mr. and Mrs. Towse,I wanted to offer my sincerest condolences for the loss
of your son, Cody. I met Cody in San Antonio, TX at the graduation from Combat
Medic training. He was my son's battle buddy at Ft. Sam. They became fast
friends as Cody was such a great person and easy to get to know with his quick
wit and great sense of humor. He was such a delight as he and my son palled
around together with me, my mother, and daughter at the mall the day before
graduation. Cody is a true American Hero and I wanted you to know that I think
very highly of your son and his accomplishments in his life. You and
Cody's brothers and sister are in my family's thoughts and prayers!
He will be in our hearts forever!
