A joint bid with San Diego and Tijuana? That sounds like a logistical and
security nightmare to me. What does Tijuana have to offer the games? I never
found that city very appealing.
Romney should be considered only if someone wants an honest, competent and
experienced executive who will get the job done.
Why doesn't Mr. Filner just get OBama to annex Tijuana into California?
They could even name it San Diego South or "South San Diego" like South
Salt Lake or South Ogden. Then there'd be no dual country bid, Mexico
could be paid billions for the land, and then there would be plenty of jobs for
public works employees to turn Tijuana into a decent city with water, sewer,
electricity, natural gas, buildings built to some code, fire and police
departments, etc. The jobs would go on forever. And the border
would move further south, eliminating the need for so many persons to cross it
and relieve the congestion there as well.. That makes more sense
than tapping Romney again.
Folks, folks. This is a total rumor. Romney would no sooner sign up for this
fiasco than Phil Jackson come coach your kids Junior Jazz team.Would
have made a heckuva President though!I hope everybody is loving the
Hope and Change promised to America. Looking forward to paying for Obamacare
next year also. America is toast.
Why don't we just pass out some weapons to the cartel's there and tell
them we want them to provide security. That would cut down on a lot of cost and
then we could just open the boarder for the two weeks and that way all the
people could cross at one point and the people in Texas, New Mexico and Arizon
would not have to worry! This whole thing of it just being a ploy to
offer Mitt the job would ultimately lead to a real like begging for him to come
in and save them. They may not like the results he would offer. Too many people
would lose their $200,000.00 a year jobs sitting on their butts complaining that
they were not earning enough.
I really don't care what Romney is doing these days.
Wastintime, does anyone? Oh, I mean besides a handful of people who
read this newspaper.
