Mark my words. Many of these movies will have fantastic special effects. Some
will even have a semblance of a plot and passable dialoge. A few may even have
reasonable acting. But all will contain gratuitous sex, violence, and profanity.
Contrary to the theme of this article, this fact is hardly worthy of
@ John CharityRight on! Haven't seen the inside of
a movie theatre too much these last few years. I don't enjoy most of what
is produced and am sickened by much of it. Too many of my friends from high
school got suckered into mindsets subconsciously adopted by some who watch
graphic movies and play graphic video games. We were all typical teenage boys.
But most of us got involved in violent games and movies. Only a few of us broke
out of the cycle in high school. Now too many of my high school friends are in
jail (violent crimes and the like). They weren't like they are now when
they were 12 and 13.
"'Interstellar,' .... is said to be based on the scientific
theories of Kip S. Thorne, a theoretical physicist, astrophysicist and expert on
relativity at Caltech who postulated that time travel could be possible with
wormholes."---------------It may also be interesting
to note that Kip Thorne is a native of Logan, UT.
Wow, after the extreme bomb of "The Last Airbender" where Manoj Night
Shyamalan, in his arrogance, destroyed the live version of one of the best
animated series ever made, he can still get a job? Yes, after all these years,
it still makes me angry that someone can be so arrogant to think they NEED to
remake a highly successful series to the point that the characters bear no
resemblance to the originals and even the pronunciation of names are changed.Hollywood never ceases to amaze with extremes of idiocy. I guess if you
throw enough money at enough projects something has to come up smelling like a
rose. "After Earth" will likely be the last movie I watch this summer,
if ever because of Manoj's involvement.
