It is amazing that a person who committed these types of crimes against his own
children didn't deny them but is using other tactics to get around being in
his tidy prison cell with men that don't like those child abusers one bit.
He is fortunate to be in Utah and not on Riker Island or at Fort Leavenworth.
He admitted to a long term problem and thank goodness for judges that use the
process of law and order. He doesn't think of the damage he has done to
his whole family and he should have thought about his family when he committed
these horrendous crimes. He must have had such control over the family for at
least the eight years to 20 years. He doesn't have any control in prison,
This man remains a threat to society. He has caused great pain for his
children. They remain scarred for the remainder of their lives because of his
sick behavior.Sure he doesn't want to be in prison. Too bad, so
I still have a question. What did their mother know and when did she know it?
It is amazing how these individuals rationalize with their conscience. I know a
person whose 28-year old son was convicted of rape of a 13 year old. The
28-year old had said she was almost 14 and that wouldn't have been as bad.
When you go online and see where these type of people live in your neighborhood,
it is good to be able to see where the potential next violators live so you can
try to make it safer for your children and grandchildren playing at the park,
going to and from school, and just playing in their yard. If you have ever had
a child abused by a person that was known to have committed those types of acts,
it rips at your heart and soul, to think, "What could I have done different
to protect that child?" If others knew about the person, why didn't I
know about that person? We know about this person, self-admittedly
and on record of the court. That dated picture he doesn't look good in his
eyes, face and just overall countenance. I have a heart 35 years
later that still suffers, at times, but our child always.
Mr. Brown, I have one phrase for you: "Choice and Accountability."
Man-up and serve your sentence for the horror you brought on your own children.
