I don't like articles like this. Who cares that this terrorist had any
ties to Utah. I don't think that's something to be proud of or even
newsworthy. Either way, it's almost as obscure as a Las Vegas newspaper
writing "the dead Boston terrorist identified Nevada on a map in Elementary
School in a geography bee."
bribri86 - You don't like articles like this because they challenge your
notion that "bad" people and "good" people are neatly separated
into tidy categories. At this point, no one knows why these young men did what
they did. This is why the notion that all we need are "good guys" with
guns to keep us safe is just feel-good, fear-monger, money-making propaganda for
the gun industry. Not one of us has a guarantee of safety or survival. The
best antidote to "bad" people is to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and
do unto our neighbors as we wish they would do unto us. The rest is just

"radicalism" and "extremeism" in general. That's why.
I guess it was pure coincidence I correctly guessed the religious background of
these terrorists. I was told on these boards many times yesterday I
was wrong and that it was likely a right wing crazy. You better
believe if these were NRA card carrying Christians, that would be the focus of
this story in the liberal media. But they're Muslims. So
we'll downplay that as much as possible.
@chris BI guess since you did not correctly guess their background which
you said was middle eastern and they are Russian and the fact that there is of
yet any evidence proving they were indeed Muslim means NO there is no
coincidence here just your bias showing again.
" . . there is of yet any evidence proving they were indeed Muslim . .
."Tolstoy:Didn't you read this story? The DNews
and all mainstream news agencies have reported all morning they are indeed
Muslim. Even your mothership at MSNBC's website reported several hours ago
that "the family is Muslim." Maybe you'd better check
in for your new talking points.
I was worried that they weren't going to find a Utah connection. I'm
so glad they did. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what the Utah
connection was. I'm also glad that it's more of a connection than the
last story's "he uses the letters A, H, T, and U when he writes"
With the thousands locked into their homes in fear of the other killer
let's hope that most have a gun in the house for their own safety and
Prejudice is an ugly disorder. It leads to conclusions based on emotion and
anger, not facts. It enables those afflicted with it to dehumanize other
people, to justify their hate, which leads to dysfunctional behavior, like
Irrespective of the UT element, I think this article is interesting as it
provides more background information about one of the alleged perpetrators of
the Boston bombing. It concerns me though, the 24/7 coverage of
those who commit these types of attacks.
"Adding insult to injury, the other bomber, little brother Dzhokhar
Tsarnaev, was rewarded with American Citizenship on September 11, 2012, in
Boston, according to JW's source. The 19-year-old, who is still on the run,
was granted asylum in Arlington Virginia on September 27, 2002, JW's source
reveals." (comment - all fake,undercover fronts)"Years
before these Chechen terrorists carried out the Boston Marathon bombings,
Judicial Watch uncovered critical intelligence documents detailing al
Qaeda's activities in Chechnya, including the creation of a 1995
camp-ordered by Osama bin Laden-to train "international terrorists" to
carry out plots against Americans and westerners." (Now we know.)
Midwest Mom. Well said. You have a way with words. 5 star comment
Cris B.Sandy, UTI guess it was pure coincidence I correctly guessed
the religious background of these terrorists. But they're
Muslims. So we'll downplay that as much as possible.========Could please explain the difference between a "Muslim"
terrorist, and a "Christian" terrorist, or a
"Palestenian" terrorist, or a "Irish" terrorist?Because those of us who are not bigots think a terrorist is just a terrorist.
"Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is acomplete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political,
economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a board
(sic?) for all of the other components. Can a good Muslim be a good American?
Democracy and Islam cannotco-exist. Every Muslim government is either
dictatorial or autocratic." A Muslim terrorist is not fighting for his
freedom, he is fighting to destroy your freedom, your life, your country.
