How dare they interfere with his constitutional right. What part of
"shall not be infringed" do these security people not understand?
So typical of a lot of gun owners. If you made this a mandatory 1 year jail
sentence and put a lot of signage around the security area it would never
happen. But then gun owners would say it's too harsh and an infringment
on their 2nd amendment. Time to start throwing the book at careless gun owners
and the cost they incur to our society!
This is not typical of gun owners. If it were, then there would be many more
than fifteen gun seizures in a year. He is being investigated for an
intentional weapons violation which is a class A misdemeanor. If convicted he
could face jail time but that's not likely. He will forfeit his gun and
probably some cash. Oh, and he gets his name in the paper. I bet he will never
forget about his gun again.

less than 4 months have endangered thousands and disrupted travel plans. He
should be convicted and serve jail time. Not only would this individual not do
this careless act again maybe 14 other knuckleheads would not as well.
Don't let some careless gun owners endanger the rights and security of
others. Zero tolerance and maximum punishment are needed and we will be a much

Amazing that some think that not allowing guns on airplanes is a violation of
the 2nd Amendment.I suppose not allowing a 3rd grader to bring a
loaded gun to show and tell falls into the same category?
@JoeBlowBefore all these irrational gun laws, kids could and did
take guns to school.there were no mass shootings, and the only
reported uses was in defense of their school.It's not the guns,
it is society, it is the people.Let's fix the right thing and
not punish the good guys.
