Big Al isn't the only one that needs to step up if the Jazz are to win . .
It may be too little too late. The Jazz' chances look very bleak right
now. They lost too many must-win games all season.Oh well, we wish
them luck! They are fun to watch.
The article is a little behind. The Jazz have two games left; the
Lakers only have one. They beat San Antonio last night without Kobe. The Jazz will have to win both games and the Lakers lose their last one.
We shall see what the motivation is for the Rockets. The Spurs danced like they
were at an "ice cream social". Whenever the game got close, they just
went and asked for more ice cream. For whatever reason, the motivation was just
not there. Actually, I don't think that the game matters to the Rockets
either. AJ is really playing well. The Jazz have ten expiring contracts and what
will happen. The best bet is to cut the salary cap, sorry AJ and MSap, and go
for a good point guard and start praying that they can work out something with
Favors before his contract expires in two years. The NBA merry-go-round is quite
a dizzy life for the owners. The fans are just a victim of circumstances and the
Jazz have some of the most loyal. However, attendance of 18.2K in a 19.9K
facility should be a "word of warning".
This is Ty Corbins 3rd season. The first season was a partial when
Greg Miller backed Deron instead of Jerry and Jerry bailed. The
second season was shortened with the lockout. This season was a full
season and every radio/tv personality said at the beginning of the season said
something to the effect of "the players are a year older/more experienced
and Ty will have a full camp and season to demonstrate progress and this will be
a good season to evaluate Corbins results".Well. We added Mo
Williams and Randy Foye (a huge upgrade) and our young guys are a year more
experienced/better.The results?Ty Corbin will miss the
playoffs and we get a worthless midteens lottery pick. All the uneducated fans
who have been whining for a lottery pick win. Most mid-teen lottery picks yield
rotational players at best and often less. Of course there are the
few exceptions but the reality is what you get there is a Ronnie Brewer.Playoff experience is what this team needs. That and getting rid of Al
Jefferson the champion offense-slower, ball-stopper, defenseless, offensive
blackhole. Playoff success comes after playoff failure/experience.
Uh, big Al, we only wished you had treated EVERY game as if it
"mattered." Then we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now.
I sat behind the jazz bench a couple of games ago,and realized that the players
have absolutely NO repsect for Corbin...The only way we will become an elite
team is to get a coach that has the respect of each of the players...We need
Sloan back...I would take him back any day!! He got the most of his players and
if he didn't they sat the pine!!
i think rick adelman is out of the wolves...now...Management should take
him...and make him part of the selection process for free agency and
drafting...i think with Rick Adelman...we would get one of the most underrated
coaches in the league...and his system works...
