In my opinion this is a very poorly written article. So many questions
unanswered. How far is it from the airport terminal to the trax platform? What
other stops are there between the airport and downtown? How late does the
service run? You quoted someone who lives by a trax stop. How wonderful.
We all don't live by trax stops. What is Uta doing to promote this
other than word of mouth. What is the next trax line project?
The only boon is on the end of line stops and everything in between will be put
out of business, a planned and designed in economic shutdown of more small and
private businesses considered competition to SLC along this stretch of roads
they take over. Trains go down the middle of all the roads so people can't
get off and shop along its rails so they have concentrated development at end of
line bus and train rails.SLC has long been self serving and jealous
of anyone who is getting any benefits of people traffic so they will put 10,000
people out of a job to continue their monopolistic government expansions using
UTA, trains, public transportation, and tax funds to leverage competition out of
the way.Using UDOT, UTA SLC has succeeded in taking over this SL
Valley to try and force people and maintain power over development through
cities and towns and people in their path for their own greed and benefit.Point is, where TRAX and UTA goes so does small towns and cities who try
to get in their way to preserve thier own industries and small business.
@My2CentsAre you serious?I ride the train all the time
and I have discovered that even though the train goes down the middle of the
road, I can get off and then cross the tracks to shop. You don't have to
stay in the middle of the road when you get off the train...
Too bad trax schedules will keep me driving...
Re: ". . . TRAX . . . adds transportation options to city's west
side"What options? Wanna ride TRAX from where you live? Sorry,
it doesn't go there.Wanna drive to the TRAX line and ride into
town? Sorry, no parking.Wanna patronize a business along the line?
Sorry, it doesn't stop where you need to get off.Wanna take a
bus and transfer? Hope you have all day.Light rail is the darling of
liberal communalists, but it's the very worst of a very bad bag. It's
way too expensive, way too dangerous, and way too inflexible to be a serious
contender for real people to use.
must be TAXI drivers TROLLS.Hey UTA, when are you guys going to
restore service along 7th and 13th east in Sandy between Midvale Creek Rd to
White City Sego Lilly or down to 106th (along North and South routes)? You know
F94 can't go more than 3/4 miles along 94th and 90th South deviation. And
oh yeah, I have asked many times at this comment section and you guys won't
talk about it. The only way to get my attention to you guys is by calling you at
your main office. Then what happen when I or we do call - you take our request
to the trash? Your big spending is well worth to bring those trains to our main
arteries and now it is time to restore this Sandy area AND all other areas that
It's good to see that Santa is taking advantage of the new TRAX line as
well. Looks like the reindeer might be out of the job in SLC.

it at every turn.procuradorfiscal wrote: "Wanna patronize a

yourself to walking a couple of blocks. Walking's actually good for us
humans, by the way.procuradorfiscal wrote: "It's way too

actually costs you less money as a taxpayer than the buses. It's only
dangerous if one fails to obey the laws that have been in effect in our country
for over 100 years, yield to trains. And the reason that you find it to be
"inflexible" is because you refuse to be flexible. But millions of
American's each year ride light rail trains in this country and they
don't find it to be inflexible.
