Watched from the Middle East - thats for the PAC-12 live feed. Great game!
They boys would let Stanford get up on them at all.
This is a real quality win. Stanford has a history of playing BYU tougher than
any other team. Great way to finish the regular season and carry the momentum
into the tourney.
Nice rebound this weekend from the UCLA loss last week; this team is for real
and has a great shot at the national championship. Assuming Ben Patch does go
on a church mission later this year, this will be the only season BYU has both
him and Taylor Sander. Ryan Boyce may not be Lloy Ball, but it's not clear
when the Y will have as good a crew of hitters.
Great win for the Cougars. I, too, watched the PAC 12 feed. It was pretty poor
quality and the announcers showed themselves to be classless on occasion as they
criticized Boyce ("looks like he's 40 years old") and bragged that
Stanford is a final-four caliber team. They were still complaining about some
official's call that went against them when Stanford played BYU in Provo
(which supposedly changed the outcome of the match). It was nice that the
Cougars put to rest the argument about which team was better.
I feel a national championship in BYU's near future.
