In Japan the word for God is "It". In the movies "it", is what
makes the movie.
re: george of the jungleIt is what it is?
Sex sells. It's a game of supply and demand. Teens and young adults relate
to these types of movies because this is how spring break is. The honest truth
is that outside small religious groups sex, drugs, and alcohol are the norm
Wally WestI don' know what "IT" is, but what ever it is, we
are attracted to it.
I have 5 daughters. My younger ones have grown up watching these actresses on
Disney. I think that it is sad to see the transformation from more wholesome
entertainment to raunchy entertainment. And yet it is no great surprise. If we
live in a world where money is the great motivator, morals are seen as outdated,
and creativity is viewed as being willing to see how shocking and contrary to
the previous moral standards a movie can be, then why are we surprised that the
little starlets turn into out of control adult stars. If we live in a society
that is happy to dump all of our previous civilized rules and morals, what do we
expect? We glamourize celebrities and follow them obsessively. Maybe it would
be better if we all got real lives. It's a shame to see truly talented
actresses like Hannah Montana and Lindsay Lohan self-destruct when they enter
the "adult" world of entertainment. If we as a society value this the
most, we truly are headed for a major disaster.
