How about some comments about absolutely horrendous job of coaching by Corbin --
what happened to DeMarre? Why isn't subbing in for guys when they are
playing so poorly? Why does he call timeout and the next play is a 3-point
heave by Mo with the clock running down. Does this guy have a clue about
Sadly, the wheels have officially fallen off. With free agency pending,
it's clear the players are more concerned about their next contract
elsewhere. There's probably more truth in Raja Bell's assessment of
Coach Corbin than people give him credit.
DeMarre hasn't played well the past week. It doesn't matter who you
stick into that starting lineup, with everyone setting screens for Jefferson to
hold the ball in the post, then stand around until he forces something up.
Jefferson cost them again clear through the game. Millsap was non existent
because everything ran through AJ. The guards had to sag into the paint to keep
guys from blowing by Jefferson, leaving the NY wings open. So the game plan
was.. Drive the ball at Jefferson, or pick and roll him. If you get by him slam
it down. If a guard rotates to help, dish it back outside for the open jumper.
Jefferson didn't leave his feet or block out for a rebound until 2 minutes
to go before half. I'm not a Corbin fan, but I doubt anyone could help
these guys. Why has a big slow center like Jefferson already been traded twice?
His game directly effects the rest of the team on both ends of the floor.
@fortydami agree with you that Big Al is a black hole on
offense...and a liability on D...to be honest...i appreciate Carlos Boozer
more...as he kicks out the ball much quicker...thus having a more efficient
offense...but still...a good coach...wont force it that way...you want to be
efficient...so if you want to score quickly...you better have an offensive set
where in your players get the ball at the most optimum position...
