I am generally and normally opposed to the the death penalty, but if what the
prosecution says happened really did, I would make an exception for this man.
3 years just to get to the hearing phase. I assume the trial will take another 3
years for prosecutors and defense attorneys to prepare for. Justice is slow,
very slow in this state.I'm sure it will end with a plea bargain as
most cases do and justice will not be served....as usual.
I heard on the radio that Nathan Sloop beatthe little boys face with a
hammer afterkilling him.I don't understand how is it that
suchpeople even exist.
The mother of this child, who should have protected him, deserves the death
penalty every bit as much as Sloop does. In fact, she should get it before he
does. But the prosecuters will plea bargain with her to get him. In fact, it
should be the other way around. This is a most unfortunate incident.
No plea deals. Please!
The violence in American society aimed at the young and helpless is sad and
discouraging. There has to be a way to tighten up the education of the young.
One way would be to up the discipline levels in elementary and high schools
instead of emphasizing freedom of expression. This would also then include a
stricter approach to juvenile violations, witness the light sentences in
Steubenville, by having a more realistic modern approach to the juvenile code. A
high profile murder case in Japan saw Japan counting the age of consent to be at
age 20. The victim was an 21 yr old Irish young woman at a Nicki Minaj concert
and the murderer was a 19 yr old American dancer in the Hip Hop entourage of
Nicki Minaj. We have to make the young accountable to the rest of society
instead of liberals using behavior modification techniques in the media on that
group to modernize society.
Please no death sentence! What he has coming in prison will be way more
punishment than an easy death on the table at the POM.
If she didn't want him with her, why didn't she let his father keep
