Change we need. Change we can believe in.
Seriously, how was he re-elected? He is ruining this country.
Brought to you by Barack Obama and the Democrat party. Sticking it
to all those evil "rich" people. There is a second order
effect, or unintended consequence. (Or perhaps a feature rather than a bug?)
Younger people will see their parents getting hit with more taxes as a
consequence of their saving and working hard all their lives, and quickly
understand that it just is not worth it to work hard because "makers"
are being taxed more and more so that the Democrats can buy votes from the low
information voters and dependent classes that they like to keep down on the
welfare plantation. They have killed the incentive to work, and
thereby the American dream.Thanks, Obama.
I did not change tax brackets when I retired. No big deal. As to the comments
about it being Obama's fault. Who started two unfunded wars? Who passed a
prescription drug bill that was unfunded? Who is responsible for lowering
taxes so low that they could not keep up with the cost of two unfunded wars.
Who ever heard of starting two wars and cutting taxes at the same time??The answer is not Obama!!!
Re: "Who ever heard of starting two wars and cutting taxes at the same
time?"John F. Kennedy.
The Affordable Care Act is something we can't afford. There's another
item that will ruin this country. And the total population still doesn't
have health insurance.
If you kill the "evil rich people" with taxes, there will be no one to
help the "poor people". Be very careful about killing those with
enterprising ideas. Those are the ones that create the jobs and carry the force
of the economy.
The tax increases are the best thing ever as evidenced by the surging stock
market, lower unemployment rates and increasing home prices!People
just work harder (to maintain their same after-tax incomes) so tax increases
actually stimulate economic productivity.
I am so grateful that I don't have it on my conscience that I voted for
Wish I were making over $450,000 a year (or $250,000, for that matter), so I
could pay those higher taxes. Oh, well!
xscribe,I guess you missed the part about retirees getting hit with
BO's new taxes. And of course, we ALL know that ALL retirees make over
