For the church and the world, the new pope hopefully marks a new beginning anchored in humility and help for the poor, that will turn the US and the world away from modern deadly non-religion and secularism of the new social order that despises the "Thou shalt nots."

May God bless the leader of his church, Pope Francis!

I think I like this Pope. I like his humble attitude.
After becoming Pope, he insisted on riding on
the bus with the cardinals rather than take the
pope mobile. As a cardinal, he could have had
very expensive living quarters and a chauffeur,
but he drove himself and had a humble
    apartment.

He asked people to pray for him, as a non Catholic
I am. I am praying he will feel inspired to allow
priests and nuns to marry. On have read where
this restriction is a source of emptyness and
suffering for many priests. I feel for these
priests and would like to see this restriction
    removed.

    Good Luck to Pope Francis.

    God Bless...

I hope the new Pope lives up to expectations? But he is "Old School" so it will probably be a case of new Pope same church.
