Talk is cheap but they do need to hit the panic button. After the next two
losses to Bulls and Knicks the Jazz will be out of the playoff picture. And
probably never recover. Only a surprise or serious injury on the Lakers would
keep them in the playoff picture.. Too little too late.
The Jazz likely blew their chance to make the playoffs when they lost to
Atlanta, Milwaukee and Cleveland. Those are three teams that the Jazz are
better than, and would still be 4 games ahead of the Lakers. If,
and this is a huge if, they win the next two games, they are back in the race.
The team has to gather a little mental toughness and win a road game. It is
pretty sad that they are so good at the ESA and abismal on the road.Out of GS, Houston and the Lakers, the Jazz have the toughest remaining
schedule. They will have to have an amazing run to finish the season to make
Not much hope for the comeback kids. Things must change in the Jazz
organization. The team itself has the latent talent if utilized properly and
Well, they've been known to play down to the low teams (and lose) and play
up to the high teams (and win). So perhaps they can get past these next two
fairly high teams and keep their spot on the playoff list. Here's
hoping!!!! If they won't give up, I won't.....Go Jazzboys
tonight (and tomorrow night)!!
Why is Lindsey still drawing a paycheck?
So much promise and now the "wheel is coming off the wagon". Obviously,
the loss of Mo went with the loss of the other "mo" momentum. You
can't resign Jefferson at 15 million. It is all coming to an end and the
turnover must begin to Favors and Kanter. This is year 3 of 5 with Favors and
year 2 for Kanter. If you string Favors along into next year by keeping either
Jefferson or Millsap, he will move elsewhere and the Jazz will be destroyed. The
task now is to find a young point guard to work into a Stockton-Malone type of
connection. I believe that the owner son made a big mistake in ostracizing
Malone. With ten expiring contracts, there are a lot of unknowns. The only
knowns appear to be Favors and Kanter. That is a big plus.
@ El CapitanThis team has talent. I will not dispute that. What
they have though is a lot of solid players and not a superstar caliber player.
They are what their record indicates.@ John WicksDennis
Lindsey did the right thing not making a move. The young core the Jazz have and
cap space is key. Ask the Celtics if they wish they did not have all these
players locked down for another 3 years. Making a trade and bringing back
players you don't want is a bad move. The Jazz can now sign a Jeff Teague
or a Brandon Jennings type player.Good thing fans are not the
