I can't help but wonder if some of these boys will be shooting baskets
Congratulations to Lone Peak HS! You've made all of Utah proud.
Why were alta fans chanting "overrated" when lone peak was shooting free
throws and lone peak was up 25?
Just got back from the game. Awesome job Lone Peak! BYU's future looks
very bright with the three that have committed to BYU and hopefully Conner
Toolson will get a serious look from BYU also. Thanks for the best season in
the history of Utah high school basketball.
Congratulations!I am excited to see them play together at BYU in a
few years. It seems their playing style will mesh very well with Coach
Rose's schemes. It will also be interesting to see how well Lone
Peak does next year.In the meantime, enjoy the moment!
Now the State has a problem, all the first string 5-A all-stars will be from one
team. I wonder if the school's second string wouldn't fill most of the
2nd-team all-star also...
Re:mamajorNoNext year will be a big step down for LP
Basketball. Still great program, but it's team was once in a lifetime. No traveling to other states etc because the talent level won't be
there. TJ, Frampton are coming back, but no where near the same. Look for TJ
to travel with other teams this summer, and the three peat won't be a four
peat. But that is sports. Incredible team this year, and a joy to
watch. Best of luck to the seniors in the future.
next years team is more than capable enough to compete for the championship
again. don't throw a team out of the runnings. yeah they won't be as
good, but lone peak is still pretty stacked and could quite possibly do well in
some national tourneys
Besides having the incredible Lone Peak team, I think the talent found in the
current class of Juniors and Seniors in Utah has also got to be some of the best
to come out of Utah. These two classes have some amazing high level D-1
players. In 2013 you have Eric Mika, Nick Emery, Parker Van Dyke, Brandon
Miller & Jalon Moore while the 2014 class has TJ Haws, Brekott Chapman,
Dalton Nixon, Ryan Andrus & Sam Merrill. Then you consider Hayden Schenck,
Wade Miller, Race Parsons, Austin Clark, Jordan Darger, Connor Toolson, Stefan
Holm, Dayon Goodman and Travis Devashrayee--all 2013 kids that are going to
contintue their basketball careers post high school plus whatever additional
kids move on from 2014 and I think you have a pretty impressive group of
basketball players from what many would consider an unexpected place.
