Favors committing his fifth four was a turning point. In effect, he pulled
himself out of the game, since Corbin doesn't like a young player to foul
out and that was his fifth foul.
Why doesn't this feature ever include a score on the head coach? Ty was
out-coached in this game.Hayward was gassed. A couple of minutes on
the bench would have helped him in the end.Carroll was getting
killed by Pierce. A change of pace to Marvin might have thrown Pierce off his
game a little.Burks struggled several time getting the team into its
offense. Two minute with Tinsley or Watson might have given Boston a different
look.Burks, Hayward and Foye have been a good combination. Never saw
it.Why no substitutions after the middle of the fourth. Doesn't
Ty understand he has twelve players available for the whole game; not just the
first 3 1/2 quarters? Doesn't he know you can pull a player and then put
him back in after a rest?Does he freeze late in the game? Is he
stubborn? Is he dumb? Is a worn out Hayward, Carroll, and Burks really better
than a fresh Foye, Marvin, and Watson/Tinsley?I've seen Ty lose
several games over the last couple of years. I've never seen him win one.
Kanter shut down the paint! It was his exit both times that gave Boston back the
paint, and also the second chance points. Jefferson is as bad as he is good for
this team. His offensive game shuts everyone else out for the Jazz on each
possession that he touched the ball, everyone stops moving and stands around
because he seldom passes the ball. On defense, well lets just say he cost the
jazz double what he puts in. (see his plus minus numbers) Teams score at will on
the Jazz when he actually screens out his own team mates on the pick and roll.
