Trent Toone....you have done it again! Great article! As one of the Family
History Consultants in our War; I was just asked about how to write a Personal
History. I had some ideas but this article covered it all and more. Thank you
for your research of this subject.
Great read, man. Thanks!
I used to keep a very detailed journal and have MANY volumes that go through my
childhood from age 8 and then well into my college years. But, as I became a
mom and life grew very crazy, I didn't take the time to journal my life. I
am so regretting it now as my memory is fading...even for events that happened
just yesterday (I am only in my early 40s).I have had a nagging
through the years to get my journal caught up...which I have ignored, telling
myself that I was too busy and it was too late. But the nagging has become very
overwhelming lately and I know I must put fingers to keyboard and get my stories
down before my mind goes any more. I was in the state of menatlly
readying myself for this journey of writing when I read your article. It has
helped me a lot and I am going to go open up my journal file right now and get
some words down. Thank you.
