    I hope he gets a big $ citation for doing this. When the crossing arms are down it means don't go!

    How about an automatic machine that shoots out the tires of idiots who drive around down crossing arms and ignore red flashing lights?

    Utah drivers and trains are on par with Wiley Coyote and trains.

    And you people worry so much about breathalizers...sheez...

    @ airnaut: Or road spikes that pop up when the arms are down! (Like they used to have if you tried to go in the out at a drive-in theater.)

    Better a flat tire (or tires) than a dead person!

    If I was the cop investigating this, I'd send a request to the drivers license division to have this driver re-tested. Maybe this person was texting. Whatever the reason they turned left past a down arm, they shouldn't be driving.
