I am a Logan resident and this past month my gas bill was $335.00 which did not
include electricity, sewer and water which is a separate Logan City bill
and it was just over $200,so adding those 2 together puts it over $500. So
I would be happy to see my bill at only $400. It is colder than usual and
even with my heater set at 68 my house is freezing. I'm sure as with
most cities their rates went up just before winter so it doesn't matter
which wayyou put it this economy is hurting everyone.
all cities tax you like crazy you are better off being county. ilived in the
county most of the first part of my life paid almost no taxes then moved tocity
and found taxes on all utilities, and even cable etc. you pay more than inthe
county where you get a small bill for garbage water etc. you are paying prople
to bre your leaders so when you become a city you start a thing taht has to keep
growing, and growing . so good luck. i live in a city now and pay way more when
i was county only i missit. much better service from county too.
