Lots of new giveaways. But why should people in Kamas and Castledale pay taxes
so people in Salt Lake City can ride buses and trains for free in July and
January? It all sounds good; after all, it's better than nothing. But
isn't all this effort by the democrats just a reaction to the recent
protests? We have had these inversions for years. Why not take some time and
come up with something that will work?
Really......Legislating the air now is a good use of tax payer dollars? Why dont you libs seriously consider leges obama usurping the 2nd amendment

I don't think so. You built that.
Ok, so they want us to use mass transit. Ignoring the actual cost of taking
mass transit, who wants to waste that much time?My commute currently
takes me 30 minutes. If I was to use mass transit, it would jump to 90 minutes
to 2 hours. Why would I want to waste 10 to 15 hours per week taking 2 busses
and the train? As has been pointed out, cars are the primary source.
What is the alternative? If we converted all the cars to electric cars, the
power plants that run on natural gas will still be fired up and adding to the
pollution levels, and will probably require additional power plants to be
constructed to handle the load.To "Pagan" you realize that
those studies do not apply to Utah because here we only have short term
pollution problems. All of those studies apply to year round pollution. That
is according to the EPA.
Will dems ever learn that nothing is free?
