Lets just stay on daylight saving time. No more switching back and forth. Just
stick with one or the other!
How about putting it to a vote of the people? Some of us like DST.
Once again, common sense dies in the committee.
Yes, its only common sense that this switching is an affront to the natural
behavior of our lives. The mental and stress disorders associated with this DLST
is very disruptive to family and personal livesThere is no need for
it anymore, and those who do golf have all day long to hit the links and sports
or other imaginary attributes associated with saving time is a hoax. We have
what is called body clocks and its disruptive to business and jobs and workers
make unnatural adjustments to natural body language.Every argument
for DLST is the same augment to do away with it and let natural events and
seasons regulate our habits and family life.
Having grown up in Utah with daylight savings time and now living in Arizona for
the past 32 years with no DLST, I much prefer leaving the clocks alone.
Whew! License plates, fireworks, arresting federal agents, and DST decisions!
I'm sure glad hard decisions are being made by our leaders! I was
beginning to worry that nothing important was going to be accomplished this
CHS 85Sandy, UTWhew! License plates, fireworks, arresting federal
agents, and DST decisions! I'm sure glad hard decisions are being made by
our leaders! I was beginning to worry that nothing important was going to be
accomplished this session.8:55 a.m. Feb. 7, 2013============ Haha! Good one!Gotta admit - it
hasn't yet come close to last years "official State Hand Gun" from
last session.Important stuff....
Once again, the idea of year-round daylight saving time has been brought up (as
it is all the time, and that's fine). Problem is, the Federal law that
mandates DST doesn't permit it year-found; states must either switch back
and forth or stay on standard time. Colorado was going to vote on year-round DST
until they realized this fact, and the vote was then canceled. My
vote (and I acknowledge that your opinion may be different) is to leave DST as
it is and not to change it just because one other neighboring state does.
