Bill to purge blacklisting from criminal code advances in Senate

    I'm for any bill removing personal information from government access or use and this is one that fits the bill to remove. I think the blacklisting is being misappropriated for things it was not intended to encompass as double jeopardy cases in civil and criminal courts for the same crime so removal is the best action.

    This blacklisting law was an act of paranoia versus common sense and violation of individuals rights. We have many such laws on the books and I would recommend an approved volunteer citizens committee to revue to keep, change, or remove many of these state and city laws written and passed by paranoia and selfish causes. Also a citizens law revue committee chaired by a legislator could revue all agency's and departments laws for duplication, contradictions, and unconstitutional implications.
