Is there a cheaper, paperback version?
Just a couple of observations:1) Believing that God hears prayers and
answers them doesn't necessarily have anything to do with revelation. Many
people believe he answers prayers through miracles or by altering circumstances
around us. This concept of answering prayers has nothing to do with revelation.
A better question to ask is if they believe that God "inspires" them to
“do good” or to know how to act in a situation. That is a better
entry to continuing revelation.2) Followers of Islam believe that God
"revealed" his will through living prophets. They also believe that
Mohammed was the final prophet and that the Koran was God's final word.
Thus, they believe in an end to prophets and a closed cannon or scripture just
as most of Christianity. They just put the end at Mohammed instead of Jesus
Christ and his apostles.Sounds like an interesting book. I'm
all for everyone learning more about the beliefs of others.
