Um, unemployment actually went DOWN. At one point, unemployment went
to 10%.Today, it is 7.6%.When Obama took office, it was
7.8%.When Clinton left office, unemployment was 4%.What
happened in between?People voted Republican.
Actually Hope promised to fix unemployment in the first half of his first term.
When you adjust the 7.6 for all of the people that have given up hope it is
worse than 8%. If you round what do you get, 8%. The point is that
unemployment is not improving. How long will you continue to blame those that
have not been in control?

and now this." So while our elected officials are chanting
"neener, neener" at each other about who lost and who won, the American
Pagan- Exactly! Since when did just passing legislation become the measure of
good politics? Maybe it's because it's bad legislation. More laws and
rules don't a good country make! Ya, I know, you're the "more
government" type. Well, I'm not, so I would rather not have frivolous
bills passed just for the sake of doing so. So what if it's 3%? Maybe
that's too high!
