Lose a 2 star commit, gain a 4 star commit? Sounds good.
54-IQStop nodding off and pay attention.
Just tells you that "Bronco World" is just another amusement park
ride...When his fan base ( who he has bashed in the past) starts
drying up the donations coming in, then maybe Tom Holmoe will have to do
something... Not likely.. but we can always hope.the "Letting
go" of Cahoon is a mistake.. plain and simple....
Collegiate football is a business and Bronco is the CEO with Anae as the COO.
Can't have Anae as OC with personnel not to his liking. The boss isn't
always right, but he is always boss. I see the usual trolls are cataleptic.
ConfusedTom Holmoe IS doing something. He was keenly
aware of BYU's struggling offense and has, at the very least, talked with
Bronco about the need for change. Bronco, in turn, has initiated changes that
will hopefully lead to significant improvement. The letting go of
Cahoon and DuPaix, as has been previously stated, is simply the unfortunate
collateral damage that normally occurs when a new coordinator takes over. Bronco preaches accountability. How could he hold Anae accountable if he
didn't give Anae complete control of the offense, including the ability to
hire his own staff?
Sad to see Cahoon and Dupaix go but a change was needed. Hopefully this is the
right way to go.
SkywalkerSo Bronco caused the problem, and Cahoon is collateral damage
because of Bronco ineptness?Come on, Bronco "IS THE
PROBLEM"!Tom is too ennamoured about Bronco as much as bronco
was with Nelson... Both will fail.
ConfusedI fear that if people succeed in driving Bronco off with a
sharp stick, we will long for the day we finished 8-5. But at least the
anklebiters on the hill will be happy.
Confused et al,So if we lose Bronco, exactly WHO do we get?? I think
he's the best we can get right now and one of the best minds for defense
that there is. He just needs someone to run the offense. Imagine if we could
have averaged 1 more TD per game this year...quite a different story vs. BSU,
Utah, ND, etc.
We're going to miss Anae here, he did a great job for us. Obviously BYU has
a great defensive mind in Mendenhall and to sy otherwise is silly jealousy.Anae will do great, for sure.
Great choice Kearsly, Anae has a long history of sending byu linemen to the NFL.
Looks to me like we are going 2 touchdowns per game backwards replacing Ben
Cshoon, a real pro, with Aaron Roderick. Pretty confusing to me.
