A mentally ill perosn ill person in control and possession of a deadly weapon? I say we restrict access for all Americans to deadly weapons called vehicles. Where is the outrage?

Nice to see that the wheels of justice are still turning in the SL valley- albeit at about a half a rotation per year. A few more years and they could have sentenced her to a rest home.

30 people showed up at the sentencing hearing in support of her. I think that says something about her family and friends; they are all just as crazy as she is.

It seems the judge thinks that if a woman tries to kill her former husband, she deserves a year in jail. But if she tried the same thing with a stranger, would he have given her the same sentence? Justice is very strange.

How about suspending her drivers license for life? Since she got little jail time for a second degree felony, her being banned from driving would make me feel much safer. Also, let's ban SUV's.
