30 or 40? Why does your headline exaggerate?

Impaired or drunk?, or both. Please don't minimize the serious nature of drinking alcohol and driving. Impaired and intoxicated!!

    To Reasonable Person:
The article says that UHP arrested 30 in Salt Lake County, and Salt Lake Police arrested 10 more. I don't think there was any exaggeration.

I'm curious. In the state of Utah, what happens to people convicted of DUI? A wrist slap? Fine? Jail time? License suspended? Whatever does happen, it's not severe enough because too many people still drive drunk.

Thanks you cops, and also the car dealers who helped with funding.

It is good to get impaired drivers off the road. I just wish we had more luck getting them into jail for a while instead of slaps on the wrist.

But, what really worries me are the habitual repeat offender impaired drivers, especially those who just drive anyway after their licenses are suspended or revoked.
