People who switched from banks to credit unions could still be hit with fees

    What I know is I saved $250 a year switching from my bank (one of the big ones here) to a credit union. The bank was charging me for everything from checks to ATM transactions. It was ridiculous. When the bank refused to budge I moved my money out and have never looked back.
