the senate and some require 2/3. There are a number of 2/3 votes that are at 19
or 20, passing or not, based on one vote.He or she will be on a number of
committees and will decide the fate of bills. While there have been
a lot more party-line votes in the senate the last 2 years than the house, most
are not. It would be interesting to see Rep. Doughty win. While he
has been relatively quiet the last session, he has had good mentoring from Rep.
Seelig and King who are not. He is the only one running that has state
legislative experience. With the big names, I don't know what his chances
are, but he won in similar fashion last time.
Yup. Republicans can do what they want to do.And it often
isn't very good for anyone.
