We can all thank President Obama for helping us dig out the greatest economic
catastrophe since the Great Depression.
Why would I thank Obama? He didn't get me a job. In fact, I had to lay
off half my employees during his first term; I hope I survive his second. As one lady reported a friend told her: "Yes, I'm better off
than I was 4 years ago---because of what I did (changing jobs and traveling away
from her family half of every month) not what the President did!If
Dem's push us over the fiscal cliff, we're headed for a depression.
And their cavalier attitudes of the past four years just might find us over the
Henry Drummund,You are kidding, right? I think the state of Utah,
known as one of the more fiscally responsible states in the nation can thank its
own policies for keeping them out of the ditch. And the end is not even in
sight. We have been strapped with countless mountains of debt that will forever
hang over this country and people. We essentially have been sold down the
river. This country that once took pride in self-reliance has turned into the
opposite. Worse, our morals have deteriorated. We have become a people that
resorts to our base instincts as motivation, and our current president has used
this to his full advantage.
The depression has never ended, inflation, increasing non payable debt, and
intentionally miscalculating events and funding has given the governments a
false sense of reality. Before they can claim a windfall boost in the economy
they still have to repay the debts they took on during the boom eras of
government expansion. Some where along the path of distributing the
wealth inflation creates for government this $421 million was misplaced property
of the education system so government will have to raise taxes anyway. They
can't let the poor think they have any hope. What this $421
million surplus and unexpected boost comes from is inflation. Inflation by its
very nature is an automatic tax increase for government inflation to expand and
this is how they stay porky fat. When they calculate inflation it eliminates
many of the basic economic survival needs of the population. The formula hidea
the real rate of inflation and economic recession indicators. Inflation is
really double digit but on paper manipulations it says its only 1% and this
windfall was from economic growth and development. Removing/falsifying inflation
in the recession indicators has created a falsified economic outlook and fake
reality to justify more government.
I'm fairly certain that the current administration and state legislature
will have zero problem spending the money and then wanting even more.
They will spend the mponey alright. Just not where it's needed. Education
won't get a dime. Neither will state employees. I'm sure the
legislature will get a raise though. And more roads will be built, with the
mandatory payoff to contractors. More money will go to useless "message
bills" so the legislature can keep up its holier than thou and more
conservative than thou righteous stance.
Instead of additional revenue,--how about "additional cuts"?
