The Jazz and the road has ALWAYS been a disaster. Even really solid Jazz teams
of the past would get 55 wins with records like 37-4 at home and 18-23 on the
road. When I saw this was going to be on ESPN tonight, boom, I knew the road and
national TV meant the wrong end of blowout city.
When will this Corbin insanity end? We have too much talent to be this bad.
I just wanted to say the Jazz traded the Denver Front Court (Koufas and the
draft rights for Faried) and 2 additional first round picks for Jefferson. This
might have been the worst trade ever.Additionally, the Jazz would
have been under the luxury tax for the last 2 years and could have gotten other
free agents without the Jefferson salary. The most disturbing thing
about this whole Jefferson problem is that the Jazz believe that they need to be
a fast break team. If you want to be a fast break team; don't play
Jefferson. He is too slow. The Jazz need to be a post team when Jefferson is
in the lineup and Jefferson need to take 20+ shots a game. He is too bad
defensively to be in the game if you do not give him the ball on the offensive
game. Quite Frankly Favors needs to start with Millsap, Williams,
Williams, and Hayward. Jefferson needs to come in with Foye and Kanter in the
second unite and play a post up game.
Will someone please light a fire under Jefferson? He was lazy on both ends of
the court last night, not that our shoot-first guards gave him much of a chance
to post. On the other hand, Favors looked great.
This was the worst beat-down I have seen the Jazz take in 20 years. No
fight, no response, no time outs to stop the bleeding....Very frustrating.
Time to find a new coach.Too much talent here for this.
I have to agree with many of the other folks here. It is time to get a new
coach. It is beyond frustrating watching this poorly coached Jazz team. They
have way too much raw talent to be playing this awful (they might also develop
some bad habits due to the coaching). The Lakers got rid of coach Brown because
he wasn't performing and was actually hurting the team with his coaching
(and Princeton offense). I strongly feel that Corbin is doing the same, hurting
the Jazz. I'm really hoping that our new G.M. Dennis Lindsey steps up to
the plate and replaces Corbin. Corbin is a nice enough bloke, he just isn't
head coach material. Dennis, if you must keep him, please demote him to
assistant and bring in someone like Mike D'antoni before the Lakers snatch
him. A coach like him will definitely have our boys running...they're very
young and need to be running.P.S. Please trade Jefferson. He's
a good guy, but much like Booze, is a complete defensive liability.
Six points in one quarter? What's with that? If I worked that poorly at my
job I would be replaced.
