Lay-offs, politicians leaving their posts, and companies unable pay retirements?

    Must be George Bushes fault.

no I am sure it is somehow Obamas fault that this company has failed to adapt to a changing world while their competitors continue to flourish. They built it but its everyone else's fault when it falls apart right?

You don't see all the Obama regulations do you you? Time to open some eyes and get out of the fog. It's not going to stop with American Airlines.--Look into Lockheed, amongst many others who were holding out for a Romney victory.

You'll also see some politicians quitting. They don't want to be a part of what's coming.

I certainly won't fly American now, with a bunch of disgruntled pilots at the helm!

    One question:

1> How large was the CEO's bonus this year?

And Worf, you seem to have forgotten that U.S. airlines were de-regulated years ago under a GOP Congress. As usual, your posting here is another pile of Hoooey.

American Airlines is the default US government contractor for all travel as of this year. It really sucks if you have to fly out of SLC or into LA, because they're spread all over the place. They should just let Delta buy them out. It's going to be a miserable year of travel until AA goes away or they get bought out.
