What a great young man. I was hoping he would convert to my religion(although I
haven't been inside a Catholic Church in years) during his time at Notre
Dame. Oh well, he's turned into an amazing player. He must be
thrilled to be playing football at a great religious institution, have BCS
quality teammates, BCS quality coaches, and actually be in the discussion for a
BCS game.Only one place in the nation where all this is possible!Keep up the good work MantiNotre Dame 40byu 9
Do Mormons really believe people chose their circumstances? Serious question
from a non-believer here.People starving to death in Africa chose
that circumstance?I think not. Manti is likely thrilled
with his decision to not give up football for two years and likely give up a
chance to play in the NFL. Future mormon athletes should look to him when
deciding whethere they want to play in the NFL or not. Thanks for
choosing Notre Dame Manti. I'm not a die-hard Catholic or Notre Dame fan,
but you've made me more of a Notre Dame fan than I typically am.
I read five years ago as to why he chose to go to Notre Dame, it wasn't
just for the pretige of playing for Notre Dame. What a story- neat to see
how his college career in ending- mission accomplished.
Chris B - please stop claiming you are a Utah fan. Clearly you are just an
anti-Mormon, anti-BYU fan. Real Utah fans, like me, are embarrassed by your
Like the Michigan fan wearing a lei I can hope BYU beats Notre Dame, but I would
find it impossible not to cheer for Manti! Go Cougars and Manti!
