    Our kids call me Dad, and my wife Mom. If it is money they are looking for they call Mom and if it has something to do with fixing their brakes they call Dad.

    I can just see it now: "Mom, I need some money to go to the mall." "Go ask your mother."

    @Tolstoy

    It's insane to know you are a "mother" or a "father" to now and identify who you are?

    No. CI is right. It is a step towards destroying family identification, and to destroy the foundation of society, the family.

    What is insane is the extreme left's inability to see it, and understand what it means, or perhaps it is their desire all along to eventually make the government the "parent" of all.

    Here we already seen schoold trying to over the role of parent, and the government itself going after any prent who behavior they do not approve of.

    Not recognizing or acknowledging "mother" and "father" is just anther step.

    @ the small t truth
    the fact that people like you refuse to look at the mountains of research and recent history and insist that the thoughts in your heads are more factual then the scientific proof and observable world is kind of the very definition of insanity.

    "reason over insanity."

    Even my 3-year old grandson is smart enough to understand that he has both a Mother and a Father. And the farmer? He doesn't need mountains of bogus research to help him understand what nature intended.

    I've sometimes wondered if the child with two fathers misses his mother.
