I think we should just let Senator Stephenson make the selection. Only he knows
anything about education.
Keep in mind Senator Stephenson is still "paying back" Education for his
humiliating vouchers loss. His efforts to privatize Education and reward his
"donors" and allies with contracts will continue. You almost have to
admire his perseverance.
Let's also not forget that Senator Stephenson is a sitting Senator and also
the president of a lobbying group (Utah Taxpayer's Association). Who is he
truly serving, his constituents or the people who his company lobbies for? I
smell conflict of interest, but apparently the good people of Draper accept this
conflict (or maybe it is simply because he has an (R) after his name).
If Stephenson is against the process, it might actually have merit.
