Jogging in smoke contaminated air is not good for your lungs or your heart.

If you travel to Los Angeles bring your own air and a gas mask.

Smoke pollution everywhere every day of the year.

Not driving on bad air days is very impractical when we have a poorly-controlled monopoly in our public transit system - UTA, which seems to hike rates to outrageous prices, maintain poorly-designed routing systems, and pay their administrators outrageous salaries on the dime of the taxpayers. If reaching public transit was within reasonable distance of any location and the time to travel was only slightly longer, perhaps more Utahns would use it. The shortest available public transit time from home to work for me is 45 minutes and takes me the opposite direction from work and a bus transfer with a 20 minute wait. Compared to a 5-10 minute drive depending on lights, sorry I'm gonna take my car!
